Friday through Saturday head west to Odessa and start your holiday shopping early at the Junior League of Odessa’s Merry Marketplace. Now in its 34th year, Ector County Coliseum hosts this must attend event. For more details, check out their Facebook event page “Merry Marketplace 2016”.
Shop Locally Made Goods, Arts, and Crafts
If you are looking for something to do in Midland, come out Saturday to Alldredge Gardens for their monthly “Market at the Gardens” from 10am to 2pm. Baked goods, arts & crafts, and a beer & wine bar will get your Saturday started off right. Just make your way out to 3300 North Fairgrounds and watch out for the road construction!
Tour, and Adorn Your Walls With Local Art
Needing to add some wall décor or a conversation piece for your house? Then look no further than the 8th Annual Artist Studio Tour put on by the Arts Council of Midland. From 10am to 5pm, you are invited to view and purchase the works of twenty-five regional artists showcasing more than five hundred pieces of art. Tickets information can be found at acmidland.org.
