Wondering what type of home improvement project awaits you this summer? Well you can just ask your wife or you can head out to the Midland Horseshoe on Saturday and Sunday to browse through the Permian Basin Builder’s Association annual “Home and Garden Show”. MCT Presents: The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Only two weekends left to go see the fantastic Disney musical “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” at the Midland Community Theater. If you aren’t familiar with the cartoon version, that’s totally okay. You are probably the one supporting all the recent live action movies of Disney cartoons. Come out to see the magnificent sets, costumes and local talent as Quasimodo looks for a place to belong. ENAM Annual Shrimpfest
If your weekend is booked, make sure you make time to attend the Ellen Noel Art Museum’s 31st Annual Shrimpfest at the Ector County Coliseum. From 7pm to 10pm Monday night, come enjoy a Cajun style celebration with unlimited shrimp, drinks, dancing and an auction. Where else are you ever going to have unlimited shrimp in West Texas? Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door. (www.odessa-tx.gov)
